Thomas Cook reports over 3-fold jump in Q2 consolidated net profit

Thomas Cook (India) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017

The company has reported net loss of Rs 2.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to net profit of Rs 3.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 2.05% at Rs 452.19 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 461.66 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidate basis, the company has reported over three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 73.70 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 20.04 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total consolidated income from operations of the company increased by 26.96% at Rs 2690.59 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2119.20 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
