RCom strengthens on renegotiating tower business deal with interested parties

Reliance Communications (RCom) is currently trading at Rs. 15.75, up by 0.20 points or 1.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 15.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 15.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 15.95 and Rs. 15.65 respectively. So far 7,14,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 45.65 on 08-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 15.35 on 07-Nov-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.55 and Rs. 15.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,907.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.93% and 21.07% respectively.

Debt-laden Reliance Communications (RCom) is renegotiating the tower business deal with all interested parties, including Brookfield Infrastructure Group.

In December last year, the company had inked binding agreements to sell 51% stake in its tower business to Canada-based Brookfield Infrastructure and its institutional partners for Rs 11,000 crore but the deal fell through after the company called off its merger with Aircel.
