JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 13.43 lakh tonnes (LT) in October 2017, a growth of 1% over the corresponding month in 2016. The production of rolled products (long) decreased to 2.58 LT compared to 2.79 LT in October 2016, representing a fall of 8%. The production of rolled products (flat) increased to 9.77 LT, a rise of 2%, as compared to 9.58 LT in October 2016.
JSW Steel is one of the largest steel manufacturing companies in India having units in Karnataka and Maharashtra producing crude steel, long steel and flat steel products.
