Coal India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.
The company has reported 89.17% fall in its net profit at Rs 118.88 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1097.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 83.21% at Rs 231.37 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 1377.63 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 39.77% decline in its net profit at Rs 368.88 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to Rs 612.44 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 0.20% at Rs 18759.01 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 18797.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
