Mercator gains on getting nod to raise Rs 145 crore via QIP

Mercator is currently trading at Rs. 40.95, up by 0.15 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 40.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 40.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 41.05 and Rs. 40.10 respectively. So far 59562 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 55.20 on 24-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 32.90 on 22-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 45.75 and Rs. 40.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1237.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.44%, while institutions and non-institutions held 15.26% and 50.31% respectively.

Mercator has received approval from QIP Committee of the Board of Directors to allot around 3.26 crore equity shares of face value Rs 1 each at a premium of Rs 43.65 a share, aggregating to Rs 145.413 crore. The company has received approval for the same at the meeting held on November 13, 2017.

Mercator is one of India's largest private sector Dredging Company. The group has a presence in varied segments namely shipping, offshore services, oil exploration and production, dredging, coal mining/trading and logistics.
