RIL strengthens on raising $800 million through issue of foreign bonds

Reliance Industries (RIL) is currently trading at Rs. 935.00, up by 16.15 points or 1.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 918.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 925.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 939.70 and Rs. 924.00 respectively. So far 1,76,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 958.20 on 26-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 491.75 on 21-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 939.70 and Rs. 878.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,91,698.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.55%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.44% and 17.01% respectively.

Reliance Industries has raised $800 million through issue of foreign bonds. The company has successfully priced 10 year fixed rate senior unsecured notes for an aggregate amount of $800 million in a transaction not subject to, or exempt from, the registration requirements under the US Securities Act of 1933. The company will use the proceeds of the issue to redeem its $800 million 5.875% existing senior perpetual unsecured notes pursuant to the terms of such notes.

RIL is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
