V-Guard Industries strengthens on launching ‘smart’ series of inverters

V-Guard Industries is currently trading at Rs. 239.25, up by 7.20 points or 3.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 232.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 232.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 240.15 and Rs. 230.95 respectively. So far 2,44,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 240.15 on 24-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 109.24 on 28-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 240.15 and Rs. 220.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10,159.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.45% and 12.38% respectively.

V-Guard Industries has launched ‘smart’ series of inverters that enable users to access its various functions from a mobile phone/device. The consumer electrical and electronics appliances maker is expecting to cross Rs 300 crore revenue from its inverter division by March 2018.


The company will launch solar smart (off-grid) inverter by March 2018 and the solar smart on-grid system will be launched during next fiscal.


V-Guard industries manufactures a range of products namely voltage stabilizers, pumps, electric water heaters, solar water heaters, cables, UPS, ceiling fans, etc.
