Physical Rubber prices witness some improvement on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed some improvement on Monday following the enquiries from the non tyre sector. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 126/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to 123.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 123/ kg.

In the futures market, December delivery contract weakened to Rs 125.72 compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.66, while January delivery closed at Rs 127.32 compared to its previous close of Rs 127.90 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
