Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3,85,865.94 crore on December 4 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 44,29,477.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 14,425.97 crore, Stock Futures Rs 38,883.17 crore and Index Options Rs 3,09,736.18 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 22,820.62 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.81, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.85 and that of Stock Options was 0.49.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Berger Paints India (2.08), United Breweries (1.26), V-Guard Industries (1.26), Repco Home Finance (1.20) and Hero Motocorp (1.20).
Among most active underlying, Biocon witnessed an addition of 1.66 million units of Open Interest in the November month futures contract, followed by Infosys witnessing a contraction of 0.24 million units of Open Interest in the November month contract, Reliance Industries witnessed an addition of 0.67 million units of Open Interest in the November month contract, Tata Motors witnessed a contraction of 0.16 million units of Open Interest in the November month contract and DLF witnessed an addition of 1.43 million units of Open Interest in the November month future contract.
