NMDC is likely to soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vietnam-based Masan Resources for a possible acquisition of a minority stake in a tungsten mine in the Southeast Asian nation. The company has got clearance from the Ministry of Steel for the MoU.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
