Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) has been ranked 358th position by Business Today. Business Today (BT), India’s leading business daily, has published BT-500, India’s Most Valuable Companies list in its December, 2017 edition.
The magazine has upgraded GNFC ranking by 141 places from last year’s 499th position to 358th position. The BT 500 rankings are based upon various financial parameters like Average Market Capitalization, Total Assets, Total Income, Net Profit, Debt etc.
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals is a joint sector enterprise promoted by the Government of Gujarat and the Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (GSFC). It was set up in Bharuch, Gujarat in 1976. Located at Bharuch in an extremely prosperous industrial belt, GNFC draws on the resources of the natural wealth of the land as well as the industrially rich reserves of the area.
