12 Dec 2017 Evaluate

Bombay Stock Exchange’s (BSE) equal Joint Venture (JV) with S&P Dow Jones Indices - Asia Index has launched five size-based indices to measure the performance of the large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap companies. This would better represent the market capitalization and help meet the regulatory requirements.

The new indices comprise stocks from the constituents of the BSE 500 Index and are weighted on the basis of their float-adjusted market capitalization.

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is engaged in extensive monitoring of its members, of listed companies and of market activities in order to minimize the risk of default, promote market transparency and integrity.
