Havells India is likely to expand Crabtree product portfolio in India to address a wide range of consumer needs and strengthen its market presence. Crabtree, a well-known global brand for premium range of switches, which is a UK-based brand and its India rights are owned by Havells India.
The company introduced a new range of switchgear - Crabtree Xpro - including miniature circuit breakers, distribution boards, residual current circuit breakers and a range of time switches. It has manufactured these switches at company’s facility at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh. The company offers these switches with a 10-year warranty.
At present, Crabtree range of modular switches contributes around Rs 200 crore to the company’s overall turnover. In the next three years company aims its contribution to go up to Rs 500 crore with the addition of the Xpro range of switchgears.
