Bharti Airtel moves up on rolling out VoLTE services in Chennai

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 517.85, up by 0.90 points or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 516.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 517.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 522.30 and Rs. 515.40 respectively. So far 25393 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 565.00 on 03-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 289.25 on 26-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 537.80 and Rs. 515.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 206465.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.28% and 6.58% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has launched Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE) facility for its customers in Chennai. This step has been taken by the telecom major as part of expanding its services. The company plans to expand VoLTE footprint across Tamil Nadu over the next few months.

Airtel VoLTE works over 4G services that will enable customers across the city to enjoy HD quality voice calls with faster call set up time.
