JSW Holdings surges as RBI allows FIIs to hike upto 49% stake

JSW Holdings is currently trading at Rs. 1825.45, up by 22.20 points or 1.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 1803.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1825.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1845.00 and Rs. 1815.00 respectively. So far 1125 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2007.00 on 11-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1315.05 on 22-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1895.00 and Rs. 1730.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2019.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.42%, while institutions and non-institutions held 22.97% and 15.61% respectively.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has increased the foreign investment limit for investment by Foreign Portfolios Investors (FPIs) in JSW Holdings from 24 per cent to 49 per cent of its paid up capital.

Further, owing to the above increase in the above investment limit, the aggregate shareholding by FPIs in JSW Holdings has gone below the prescribed FPIs investment limit for the company.
