Suzlon surges on bagging 252 MW wind power project

Suzlon Energy is currently trading at Rs. 13.73, up by 0.28 points or 2.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 13.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13.52 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 13.79 and Rs. 13.52 respectively. So far 1147278 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 22.25 on 22-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 12.80 on 16-Nov-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 13.80 and Rs. 13.01 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7282.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.89% and 59.28% respectively.

Suzlon Group has secured wind power project of 252 MW from a leading Global Utility. This project is won by the Utility through SECI II auction held recently. The company will execute the entire project on a turnkey basis and will also provide operation and maintenance services. With this order, the company has secured combined orders of 502 MW across SECI - I and SECI- II auctions.
