Shoppers Stop’s subsidiary closes one ‘Crossword’ store at Mumbai

Shoppers Stop’s - wholly owned subsidiary - Crossword Bookstores has closed one store at Chembur in Mumbai. With this, there are now 83 'Crossword' stores.

Recently, Reliance Capital Asset Management and Reliance Capital Trustee Company Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) companies have acquired 17.40 lakh shares in retail chain Shoppers Stop through open market transactions.

Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
