Mideast Integrated Steels (MISL) has closed the mining operations at its mines situated at Roida-I from December 31, 2017 till the time company makes the payment of the compensation, as passed in the order dated August 2, 2017 passed by the Supreme Court in Common Cause vs Union of India & Ors., or its review petition is admitted.

Further, the other operations of company are running in smooth manner and at present it is running its Pig Iron Plant located at Jajpur.
