Coal India reports 54.63 MT of production in December 2017

Coal India has reported provisional production of 54.63 million tonnes (MT) in December 2017, as against a target of 58.89 MT. The company’s total off-take for the month of December stood at 53.44 MT, as against a target of 53.84 MT.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
