Schrader Duncan firms up on selling Mulund land

Schrader Duncan is currently trading at Rs 83.25, up by 7.75 points or 10.26% from its previous closing of Rs 75.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 77.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs 84.30 and Rs 77.90 respectively. So far 1745 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 137.00 on 25-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 69.75 on 02-Apr-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 84.30 and Rs 74.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 27.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.50% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.06% and 25.44% respectively.

Schrader Duncan has sold its land in Mulund and possession of the said land has been handed over to the purchaser. The company has received the sale consideration of Rs 43.88 crore from the buyer.

The company is an Indo-American joint venture with Schrader Bridgeport International Inc, USA which is a part of Tomkins, UK, and a global major with sales of over $4 billion. Originally incorporated as Schrader Scovill Duncan in 1961, the company is a pioneer in the Tyre tube valves and Pneumatic products in India.
