DEN Networks gains on inking agreement with VBS

DEN Networks is currently trading at Rs. 111.60, up by 1.75 points or 1.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 109.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 114.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 114.80 and Rs. 111.10 respectively. So far 79,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 118.00 on 20-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 65.00 on 11-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 114.80 and Rs. 103.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,184.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 47.39% and 16.16% respectively.

DEN Networks has entered into an agreement with VBS Digital Distribution Network (VBS) for acquiring majority stake. The company will acquire 51% stake in VBS for consideration of Rs 2.64 crore.

VBS is carrying on business of distribution of cable business in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This step will further strengthen the network of the company in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
