Tejas Networks zooms on completing GPON equipment installations for BharatNet Phase-1 project

Tejas Networks is currently trading at Rs. 449.45, up by 23.50 points or 5.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 425.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 429.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 472.20 and Rs. 425.30 respectively. So far 146437 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 472.20 on 09-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 257.00 on 27-Jun-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 472.20 and Rs. 413.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5507.83 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.52% and 69.48%, stake in the company, respectively.

Tejas Networks has successfully completed GPON equipment installations in over 40,000 gram panchayats in India as part of the BharatNet Phase-1 project. BharatNet is an ambitious Government of India project to bring high-speed broadband connectivity to 250,000 gram panchayats of the country.

The company was felicitated for its contribution to the success of BharatNet Phase-1 at a function organized by Bharat Broadband Network (BBNL) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
