According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 144.57 crore in index futures and options segments on Monday, June 25, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 72.48 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 217.05 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 266.62 crore while they bought stock options worth Rs 5.56 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 25, 2012 is 32.92%.
