NCDEX receives SEBI’s nod to launch options on Guar Seed Futures

12 Jan 2018 Evaluate

National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) has received the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) approval to launch Options on Guar Seed 10 MT Futures on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti falling on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Options contracts expiring in the months of February 2018, March 2018 and April 2018 would be available for trading with effect from January 14, 2018.

On the day of launch, trading in options contracts shall be available for trading from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. With effect from January 15, 2018, trading timing of Options will be the same as that of Futures contracts.

Besides, futures contracts of Guar Seed 10 MT (GUARSEED10) expiring in the months of January 2018, February 2018, March 2018, April 2018 and May 2018 shall also be available for trading on the day of launch of options.
