SPIC shuts down plants for routine turnaround activities

Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation (SPIC) has shut down its plants from January 11, 2018 (late in the evening) to attend to 'routine turnaround activities'. During this time, the company will replace the necessary catalysts, attend to the repairs of critical equipment and other rotating equipment, undertake cleaning of all heat exchangers, upgrade the DCS control system in ammonia plant and carry out other routine shut down jobs.

The company expects to resume operations in four weeks' time.

Southern Petrochemical Industry Corporation since its founding has been providing product and services that feed, nourish, and protect the agriculture and rural ecosystem. The company is now a well diversified one with area of businesses spreading from fertilizers to pharma.
