Bajaj Corp trades higher on the bourses

Bajaj Corp is currently trading at Rs. 509.00, up by 1.30 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 507.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 510.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 513.70 and Rs. 502.25 respectively. So far 5586 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 525.00 on 11-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 342.50 on 30-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 525.00 and Rs. 491.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7528.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.39% and 3.75% respectively.

Bajaj Corp is expecting wholesale channel to pick up pace in Q4FY18, and input cost inflation to continue. Moreover, the company is planning to tap whitespace opportunities by enhancing its innovative pipeline.

Besides, the company will focus on enhancing direct distribution in rural areas. The company will also improve sales mix further to get profitable volume driven growths.
