Physical rubber prices closed mixed on Monday

Physical rubber prices made a mixed closing in a low pace market on Monday, while futures closed feeble and leading counters remained unchanged among scattered transactions.

Spot prices for RSS- 4 variety remained unchanged at Rs. 186/ kg, while RSS- 5 variety closed at Rs. 181/ kg as compared to its previous closing of Rs. 181.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of RSS- 4 July delivery slipped to Rs. 184.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs. 186.21, while contract of August delivery closed at Rs. 181.45 compared to its previous close of Rs.183.60 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
