CRISIL has upgraded its rating on the long-term bank facilities of Jagran Prakashan (JPL) to 'CRISIL AA+/Stable' from 'CRISIL AA/Positive', while reaffirming the rating on the commercial paper programme at 'CR1SIL A1+'.
The credit rating agency has also upgraded rating for company’s Rs 1200 million cash credit limits to CRISIL AA+/Stable from rating of 'CRISIL AA/Positive' earlier and Rs 500 Million Term Loan from 'CRISIL AA/Positive’ to ‘CRISIL AA+/Stable’. Meanwhile, CRISIL has reaffirmed rating of “CRISIL A1+” for company’s Rs 500 Million Commercial Paper Programme.
Jagran Prakashan (JPL), has business interests in area of newspapers, outdoor, internet, magazines, below the line marketing solutions, and mobile value added services. The company publishes Dainik Jagran, a Hindi daily newspaper. Dainik Jagran launched its first edition in 1942 in Jhansi and is brainchild of late Puran Chand Gupta.
