Bharti Airtel trades higher on the bourses

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 438.85, up by 0.80 points or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 438.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 435.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 444.90 and Rs. 429.50 respectively. So far 57222 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 565.00 on 03-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 325.50 on 22-Mar-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 450.75 and Rs. 422.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 174126.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.88% and 1.99% respectively.

Bharti Airtel, through its subsidiaries, has concluded the deal with Millicom with respect to acquisition of 100% equity interest in Tigo Rwanda.

Earlier, the company had received an approval for the acquisition of Tigo Rwanda, a subsidiary of Millicom International Cellular S.A. (Millicom) from the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA). The merged entity will have the largest customer base in Rwanda with 5.9 million subscribers.
