Godrej Consumer Products trades higher on the BSE

Godrej Consumer Products is currently trading at Rs. 1050.00, up by 1.95 points or 0.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 1048.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1049.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1068.00 and Rs. 1039.90 respectively. So far 17980 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1124.70 on 24-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 769.50 on 10-Feb-2017.

FMCG firm Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) has reported a 22.05 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 429.87 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2017. The company’s net profit for the October-December quarter last year stood at Rs 352.20 crore. Total income of the company during the period under review increased by 6.45 per cent to Rs 2,666.23 crore as compared to Rs 2,056.85 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
