Prabhat Telecoms gains on entering into agreement with Pocketbook International SA

Prabhat Telecoms (India) is currently trading at Rs. 277.05, up by 1.55 points or 0.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 275.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 276.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 277.05 and Rs. 276.00 respectively. So far 9000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'M' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 281.95 on 25-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 23.00 on 13-Jun-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 281.00 and Rs. 271.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 260.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.98%, while Non-Institutions held 32.02% stake in the company.

Prabhat Telecoms has entered into a non disclosure agreement with Pocketbook International SA for the launch of e-book readers in India in association with their brand ‘Xccess’.

Pocketbook International was founded in 2007 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Its headquarters is located at Lugano in Switzerland. PocketBook is the fourth largest global manufacturer of e-readers.

Prabhat Telecoms (India) is a part of Prabhat group of companies engaged in design, assemble, and customize import and distribution of mobile handsets, wireless dongles/data-cards, data products and mobile/telecom accessories.
