Infosys has cut per capita electricity consumption by 32.67% across all campuses and by more than 50% in all new buildings. It is likely to reduce water consumption by 22.87% and greenhouse gas emissions by 25.67%.
The company has planned to reduce the per capita carbon intensity by 7% in FY 2013, as compared to FY12 and the per capita fresh water consumption from municipal sources by 5% as compared to FY12.
