Sagar Cements gains on reporting 47.21% rise in January production

Sagar Cements is currently trading at Rs. 923.00, up by 18.00 points or 1.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 905.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 905.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 930.85 and Rs. 905.00 respectively. So far 173 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1161.40 on 04-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 722.25 on 10-Mar-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1010.20 and Rs. 816.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1884.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.45% and 31.52% respectively.

Sagar Cements has reported the cement production and sales figures for January 2018. The company’s consolidated Cement production for January 2018 stood at 241,347 million tonnes (MT), up by 47.21% compared to 163,947 MT produced (including cement purchase) in January 2017.

Further, the consolidated Cement sales for January 2018 stood at 237,454 MT, up by 46.47% compared to 162,117 MT sold in January 2017.
