Reliance Industries (RIL) has won the Golden Peacock Award 2017 for the success of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and in particular for the transformative work done by Reliance Foundation (RF), the CSR arm of the company.
One of the key social projects of RIL, recognized by the Golden Peacock jury, aims at impacting farmer livelihoods through water and food security interventions.
RIL is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
