Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, has inked a three-year partnership agreement with football club Arsenal. With signing of this agreement, the mobile operator can utilize the club’s merchandising, hospitality and content rights in five countries.
Apart from the above, the mobile operator customers in theses five countries Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, Uganda and Rwanda will have a chance to win match tickets for the summer's pre-season tour fixture and receive club content and news on the handsets.
Besides, the company will also be designated as the official mobile operator of the 2012 Arsenal Tour to Nigeria. Further, the football club will support the company’s 'Airtel Rising Stars' football programme, an annual, multi-country soccer initiative.
