According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1194.81 crore in index futures and options segments on Thursday, June 28, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 31.23 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1163.58 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 45.83 crore while they also bought stock options worth Rs 88.75 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on June 28, 2012 is 35.07%.
