Indoco Remedies advances on receiving EU GMP Certification for Goa Plant III

Indoco Remedies is currently trading at Rs. 271.55, up by 11.00 points or 4.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 260.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 267.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 277.25 and Rs. 267.90 respectively. So far 4,220 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 317.00 on 24-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 179.00 on 31-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 279.00 and Rs. 258.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,497.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.85%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.62% and 23.53% respectively.

Indoco Remedies has been granted an European GMP certification from Regulatory Authority of Hungary for its manufacturing facility for Non - Sterile products (Goa - Plant III), located at L-32, 33, 34 Verna Industrial Estate, Goa.

The EU GMP certification will enable the company to continue to export medicinal products to all European countries. The granted GMP certification will also continue to support exports of drug products to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and rest of the emerging territories as well.

Indoco Remedies is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of formulations (finished dosage forms) and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in India.
