Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 6,87,265.97 crore on February 16 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 82,58,144.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 26,565.14 crore, Stock Futures Rs 68,112.66 crore and Index Options Rs 5,40,116.22 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 52,471.96 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.82, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.86 and that of Stock Options was 0.53.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Cholamandalam Investment and Finance (1.04), Oracle Financial Services Software (1.00), Godrej Consumer Products (0.84), Tata Motors (0.83) and Asian Paints (0.83).
Among most active underlying, Punjab National Bank witnessed a contraction of 4.46 million units of Open Interest in the February month futures contract, followed by State Bank of India witnessing an addition of 0.02 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract, Maruti Suzuki India witnessed an contraction of 0.13 million units of Open Interest in the February month contract and Reliance Industries witnessed an contraction of 2.07 million units of Open Interest in the February month.
