Godawari Power to amalgamate Jagdamba Power & Alloys into itself

Godawari Power & Ispat has received an approval for the Scheme of Amalgamation of Jagdamba Power & Alloys into itself. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on February 19, 2018, approved the same.

Jagdamba Power & Alloys is engaged in generation of power and has set up a 25 MW CaptivePower Plant at Industrial Area, Siltara, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Godawari Power & Ispat is engaged in the production of sponge iron, steel billets, ferro alloys, HB wires, oxygen, fly ash bricks and is also in the power business. GPIL is a flagship company of Raipur-based Hira Group of Industries, which is an integrated steel manufacturer and is having dominant presence in the long product segment of the steel industry; mainly into mild steel wire.
