HIL has commenced the commercial production of ‘SWR (Soil, Waste & Rain) Pipes and Pressure Pipes’ at its plant located at Faridabad in Haryana, from February 20, 2018.
SWR Pipes and Pressure Pipe is a new addition to the company’s Pipes & Fittings Business which marketed under the brand ‘Birla Aerocon’. This augmentation of the portfolio will further strengthen the company’s relationships with the trade channel, plumbers, influencers and builders/developers.
HIL is a leading player in asbestos cement sheet (ACS) for roofing, from which it derives 70 per cent of its revenue at present.
