Vikas WSP gains on getting nod to consolidate guar gum polymers business

Vikas WSP is currently trading at Rs. 16.20, up by 0.15 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 16.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 16.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 16.70 and Rs. 15.65 respectively. So far 63411 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 18.10 on 05-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.01 on 23-Feb-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.30 and Rs. 14.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 314.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.44% and 79.78% respectively.

Vikas WSP’s board has decided that in future guar gum polymers export business will be done by the company, thereby consolidating the business under one roof. Guar Gum Polymers business will be a focused business of the company.

The other group company - Vikas Granaries will completely exit from guar gum polymers business and will focus in the field of mining of granite and manufacturing of Proppants grounded granite stone wastes into coarse mesh powder for use in oil fracturing and drilling in the domestic as well as export markets.
