GE Shipping gains on delivering ‘Jag Rahul’ to buyers

The Great Eastern Shipping is currently trading at Rs. 384.45, up by 1.25 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 383.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 385.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 385.90 and Rs. 384.00 respectively. So far 830 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 482.40 on 18-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 360.50 on 17-Nov-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 394.00 and Rs. 375.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,856.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 29.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.74% and 26.58% respectively.

Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) delivered its 2003 built Supramax Dry Bulk Carrier ‘Jag Rahul’ to the buyers. The vessel was contracted for sale in January 2018.

The company’s current fleet (excluding Jag Rahul) stands at 47 vessels, comprising 32 tankers (12 crude carriers, 17 product tankers, 3 LPG carrier) and 15 dry bulk carriers (1 Capesize, 8 Kamsarmax, 6 Supramax) with an average age of 10.28 years aggregating 3.88 million dwt.
