RIL gains with JV inking agreement with Andhra Pradesh government

Reliance Industries (RIL) is currently trading at Rs. 940.25, up by 6.25 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 934.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 936.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 944.75 and Rs. 936.10 respectively. So far 74,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 990.00 on 23-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 593.50 on 27-Feb-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 944.75 and Rs. 914.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,95,566.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.77% and 16.75% respectively.

Reliance Industries’ (RIL) JV - India Gas Solutions has signed an agreement with Andhra Pradesh government to invest in creating marketing infrastructure for natural gas from KG basin. India Gas Solutions is an equal joint venture (JV) between RIL and UK’s BP PLC.

The JV is now actively marketing natural gas produced from eastern offshore KG-D6 block on behalf of both RIL and BP.

RIL is India’s largest private sector company, to feature in Fortune’s Global 500 list of ‘World’s Largest Corporations’ - currently ranking 203rd in terms of revenues, and 110th in terms of profits.
