UPL soars on its arm planning to raise funds through unsecured notes

UPL is currently trading at Rs. 718.00, up by 17.90 points or 2.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 700.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 709.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 719.00 and Rs. 706.50 respectively. So far 90702 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 902.00 on 01-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 675.10 on 22-Feb-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 719.00 and Rs. 675.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36386.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 27.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.10% and 12.77% respectively.

UPL’s wholly owned subsidiary -- UPL Corporation has approved the proposal to launch an offering of dollar denominated senior unsecured notes. The notes are proposed to be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
