TV18 Broadcast has completed the purchase of equity shares of Viacom18 Media (Viacom18) aggregating to one percent of Viacom18’s paid-up equity capital. With this acquisition, the company has acquired control and now holds 51% of the equity share capital of Viacom18.
TV18 Broadcast formerly IBN18 Broadcast owns and operates one of India’s leading 24-hour English language news and current affairs channel, CNN IBN.
