Coal India reports 54.46 MT of production in February 2018

Coal India has reported provisional production of 54.46 million tonnes (MT) in February 2018, as against a target of 61.43 MT. The company’s total off-take for the month of February stood at 49.97 MT, as against a target of 52.14 MT.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
