Prime Focus trades higher on the bourses

Prime Focus is currently trading at Rs. 100.50, up by 0.75 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 99.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 101.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 103.00 and Rs. 100.25 respectively. So far 903 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 135.00 on 05-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 76.00 on 22-Mar-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 103.95 and Rs. 99.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3008.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.85% and 55.18% respectively.

Prime Focus’s (PFL) arm -- Double Negative (DNEG) -- has bagged an award at the 90th Academy Awards for its work on Blade Runner 2049. The film picked up the Oscar for Visual Effects (VFX) at the star-studded ceremony. This is the third Oscar win for DNEG since the merger with Prime Focus.

DNEG was the lead Visual Effects house for the film. DNEG’s Blade Runner team delivered most of the Los Angeles 2049 cityscapes, the Joi hologram effects and the seawall chase at the end of the movie.
