Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 8,70,651.46 crore on March 7 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 98,78,566.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 29,529.35 crore, Stock Futures Rs 54,273.00 crore and Index Options Rs 7,49,034.65 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 37,814.46 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.71, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.72 and that of Stock Options was 0.60.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were V Guard (2.03), Repco Home Finance (1.58), Cummins India (1.40), OIL (1.33) and Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals (0.99).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 2.80 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 0.05 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 7.10 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Maruti Suzuki India witnessed a contraction of 0.05 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract and Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.47 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract.
