Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Bharti Airtel has informed that within the authority of the special resolution passed by the shareholders of the Company through postal ballot on March 14, 2017, the Committee of Directors of the Company has approved the allotment of 30,000 Listed, Unsecured, Rated, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (Series I and II) of face value Rs 10 lakhs each, at par aggregating to Rs 3,000 crores on private placement basis. The proceeds of the Issue will be used for general corporate purpose including routine treasury activities of refinancing of existing debt and spectrum liabilities etc. The details as required to be disclosed under the aforesaid Regulation 30 are enclosed herewith as Annexure A in accordance with clause 2.1 of Para A of Annexure I of the SEBI Circular dated September 9, 2015.
