NMDC has reported 31.32 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 31.92 MT up to the month of February 2018. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 20.29 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 20.44 MT, while Karnataka mines produced 11.03 MT of iron ore and sold 11.48 MT of iron ore up to February 2018.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
